Forget the perfectionism…and reclaim the creative thinking you had as a child, by creating like you ARE a child with these easy doodle flowers.
Why is it that 97% of kids believe, and 26% of us don't?
It's time, adults!
Forget the perfectionism…
And reclaim the creative thinking you had as a child, by creating like you ARE a child.
👶 Approach with a curious mind.
👶 Question everything.
👶 And most of all, play, play, play.
Not everything you create has to be for show ALL the freaking time!
Some projects can be just a massive mistaken mess.
And that's okay!
With every mess created, you're helping to rewire your brain, telling it it's safe to create imperfectly.
And if that's not enough of a reason, store that mess away like treasure...
Because when you CUT it
RIP it
or TEAR it,
You just never know what next art journaling project it may inspire in the future.
Take this watercolour background…

I created it a while back, in a session of playtime.
My creative spirit took hold, and I just felt the urge to throw colour at a wet page to see how they'd blend.
The creative urge was so strong I didn't even have time to tape my buckling paper down, and landed up using my finger as a weight.
𝗕𝘂𝘁 𝘄𝗵𝗼 𝗰𝗮𝗿𝗲𝘀?!
I got to be curious, question, & have fun.
And then I got to use that experiment in a multitude of ways, in the creation of some doodle flowers for my latest art journaling project.

So, I urge you...go on, MAKE A MESS!
Rewire your brain, and your creative spirit will thank you.
And if you're not art journaling yet…start.
You'll never look back.
